Maya is the Senior Head of Service in the Population & Immigration Authority of ISRAEL. Maya is the first one serving in this position, so she is engaged in building a new service division while promoting a holistic OmniChannel service management of the Authority services.
Previously, Maya was the Head of O&M, Policy and Standards in the Government Service Improvement Unit in Israeli Prime Minister’s Office. She was engaged in establishing policy and standards for the Israeli government public services, and leading wide inter-office processes to improve government services, adjusting them to the digital age and reducing the bureaucratic burden.
Before joining the government sector, Maya worked in the private sector for one of the largest Israeli banks as a financial information system development project manager, specializing in the field of pension consulting.
Maya served in the IDF for 9 years, she graduated the leading training program of IDF's Academy for Computer Science & Ciber and served as an officer, leading projects of legacy information systems development for the Technology-Logistic Division. Maya was released from the reserve military service as a Major.
She has a BA in Computer Sciences & Management and an MBA from Tel Aviv University School of Management.
She is married to Eyal and is the mother of Ido & Alona.
מאיה היא מנהלת אגף בכיר שירות ברשות האוכלוסין וההגירה. מאיה היא הראשונה המשרתת בתפקיד זה ובמסגרת תפקידה אחראית להקים אגף שירות חדש ברשות ולהטמיע תפיסה לניהול השירות ברשות בראייה מתכללת ורב-ערוצית. לפני תפקיד זה היתה מאיה מנהלת תחום בכיר או"ש, מדיניות וסטנדרטים ביחידה לשיפור השירות הממשלתי לציבור, שם עסקה בגיבוש מדיניות וסטנדרטים לשירותי הממשלה, ובהובלת מהלכים בין-משרדיים לשיפור השירות הממשלתי, תוך התאמתם לעידן הדיגיטלי והפחתת הנטל הבירוקרטי.
לשירות המדינה הגיעה מאיה מהשוק הפרטי מתפקידה כמנהלת פרויקטים לפיתוח מערכות מידע פיננסיות באחד מהבנקים הגדולים.
מאיה שירתה בצה"ל כ-9 שנים, סיימה הכשרה במסלול תכנה מלא בממר"מ וכקצינה באגף הטכנולוגי-לוגיסטי, הובילה פרויקטים רחבים לפיתוח מערכות מידע לוגיסטיות.
מאיה השתחררה משירות מילואים בדרגת רס"ן.
בעלת תואר ראשון במדעי המחשב וניהול בהצטיינות ו-MBA מבית הספר לניהול באוניברסיטת תל-אביב.
נשואה לאיל ואמא של עידו ואלונה.
