Meir is Deputy Director of Information Systems, Communications and Computerization in the judicial system. He is responsible for all information systems (infrastructure and systems) and communications (DATA, landline and cellular phone systems, wireless connections). Since his arrival there in late 2015, the organization is engaged in a push for digital transformation.
He has a Master's in Business Administration from Tel Aviv University, and a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Sciences from Bar Ilan University.
Meir has over 30 years' experience in the fields of Information Technology and Information Systems, including 18 years at Amdocs and 14 years in the Air Force's Information Systems Unit.
His digital vision is improving processes in the judicial system and making them accessible, creating new services and making them accessible by means of innovation and advanced technological systems, while strengthening the connection and synergy with the different organizations in the executive branch of government.
אחראי על כלל מערכי המידע (תשתיות ומערכות) והתקשורת (DATA, טלפוניה קווית וניידת, קישוריות אלחוטית). הארגון נמצא בתנופת טרנספורמציה דיגיטלית אותה הניעה עם הגעתו לתפקיד בשלהי 2015. בעל ניסיון של למעלה מ- 30 שנות עשייה בתחום IT ומערכות מידע, מתוכם 18 שנים באמדוקס ו- 14 שנים ביחידת מערכות המידע של חיל האוויר.
בעל תואר MBA במנהל עסקים (אוניברסיטת תל-אביב) ותואר BSC במדעי המחשב (אוניברסיטת בר-אילן).
החזון הדיגיטלי- שיפור ויעול תהליכים ברשות השופטת, יצירת שירותים חדשים והנגשתם באמצעות חדשנות ופתרונות טכנולוגיים מתקדמים, תוך חיזוק הקשר ויצירת סינרגיה עם הגופים השונים ברשות המבצעת, לצורך מתן מענה איכותי ובעל ערך מוסף לצרכיהם של האזרחים, בדגש על אוכלוסיית הבלתי מיוצגים ואוכלוסיות מוחלשות.
