He was born in Casablanca, Morocco and came to Israel, to Mitzpe Ramon, at the age of three months. He completed his high school education at the Ohel Shlomo Yeshiva of Bnei Akiva, majoring in science and physics. He then enrolled in the military preparatory yeshivas in Yamit and Neve Dkalim. He completed his military service in the Shaked Brigade, and as reservist was attached to the Northern Division.
He began his academic studies at Bar-Ilan University and completed his undergraduate degree in the Open University and the Lifshitz College for Education, specializing in mathematics and Talmud. He has a master’s degree in Jewish Education from Touro College in Israel. He has taught religious subjecgts at Bnei Akiva Beit Yehuda Yeshiva, as well as physics and mathematics at Hemdat Hadarom Academic College of Education.
Moti is married with six incredible children and four grandchildren. He lives in Otef Israel/near the Gaza Strip.
נולד במרוקו בקזבלנקה, עלה לארץ בגיל שלושה חודשים ישר למצפה רמון.
את לימודי התיכון למד בבאר שבע בישיבת בני עקיבא "אוהל שלמה" במגמה ראלית פיזיקאלית. לאחר מכן התגייס במסגרת ישיבות ההסדר לישיבת ימית בימית תובב"א ולאחר מכן בישיבת ימית בנווה דקלים.
את השירות הצבאי עשה בגדוד שקד ולאחר מכן במילואים החטיבה צפונית. את לימודיו האקדמיים התחיל באוניברסיטת בר אילן והשלים באוניברסיטה הפתוחה ובמכללת ליפשיץ (BED) בהוראת מתמטיקה ותושבע"פ, תואר שני במסגרת "טורו קולג'" בחינוך יהודי. לימד בישיבת בני עקיבא בית יהודה מקצועות קודש ובהמשך פיזיקה ומתמטיקה במכללת "חמדת הדרום".
כיום נשוי ואב לשישה ילדים מדהימים וסב לארבעה נכדים. מתגורר בעוטף ישראל.
