Maya has been serving as the secretary general since September 2011.
She has 18 years of experience in human resource management, specializing in the establishment of units for the promotion of a human resources strategy that supports the core processes of the organization.
Between 2007 and 2011, she established and managed the “Maavarim, Maayanot and Baka Employment Center”, which specializes in employment counseling and promoting a local economy in the rural sector.
She holds a BA in Behavioral Sciences and an MA in Industrial Engineering and Management, specializing in Organizational Psychology from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.
Her dissertation was published in the book "Between the Private and the Public, Women in the Kibbutz and the Moshav", on the practice of gender inequality in the renewed kibbutzim.

בעלת 18 שנות ניסיון בניהול משאבי אנוש תוך התמחות בהקמת יחידות משא וקידום אסטרטגית משאבי אנוש התומכת בתהליכי הליבה של הארגון.
בין השנים 2007 -2011 הקימה וניהלה את מרכז תעסוקה מעברים מעיינות ובקעה, המתמחה בתהליכי יעוץ תעסוקתי וקידום כלכלה מקומית במגזר הכפרי.
בעלת תואר ראשון במדעי ההתנהגות ותואר שני בהנדסת תעשיה וניהול, התמחות בפסיכולוגיה ארגונית, מהטכניון.
עבודה התזה שלה התפרסמה בספר "בין הפרטי לציבורי נשים בקיבוץ ובמושב", פרקטיקות של אי שוויון מגדרי בקיבוץ המתחדש.
