Netanel Mazeh
Director of the Science and Community Division, Ministry of Science

Since 2012, Netanel has served as director of the Science and Community Division in the Ministry of Science, Technology and Space. In this role, he administers the budgets of regional R and D Centers, takes part in building Ministry strategy, and, alongside additional projects, manages apprenticeship bursaries, courses and budgeting for activities in the local authorities.
As of this year, Netanel manages the Lehava Program for narrowing digital gaps in Israeli society.
In 2011-2012 Netanel served as a consultant to authorities and organizations, alongside his role of project management in the community. In doing so, he built on his prior professional experience as coordinator of "Jerusalem Development Authority" public relations regarding an infrastructure project in the Old City; as director of Beit Moreshet Wiener under the "Lev Hair" Community Administration in Jerusalem; and as director of Youth Affairs in Central Jerusalem.
Netanel was also a member of the steering committee for the establishment of a Youth Center in Jerusalem, and a member in the executive of the National Association of Directors of Authority Youth Units – where he participated in writing the ethical code for youth workers in the local authorities.
During the years 1998-2000, Netanel filled positions in the area of project management in the Rishon LeZion municipality and in the Association for Community Centers in Kiryat Shmona.
Netanel has an MBA specializing in Marketing and Strategy from the Hebrew University, an MA in Land of Israel Studies in the research track from Bar Ilan University, and a BA in Education, Bible, and Oral Tradition from the "Herzog" College in Gush Etzion. Netanel is a graduate of the CEJI course in anti-discrimination coaching, of continuing education courses for youth units, of apprenticeship programs for teaching students, and of a Ministry of Education course in project management in a multi-cultural society.
משנת 2012 משמש נתנאל מנהל אגף מדע וקהילה במשרד המדע הטכנולוגיה והחלל. במסגרת התפקיד אחראי נתנאל על ניהול תקצוב מרכזי מו"פ אזוריים, שותף לבניית אסטרטגיה לפעילות המשרד, ניהול מלגות חונכות, חוגים ותקצוב פעילויות ברשויות המקומיות לצד פרויקטים נוספים.
החל משנה זו מנהל נתנאל את תכנית להב"ה הפועלת לצמצום הפערים הדיגיטליים בחברה הישראלית.
בשנים 2012-2011 שימש נתנאל יועץ לרשויות וארגונים, לצד תפקיד מנהל פרויקטים בקהילה. תפקיד זה התבסס על ניסיונו המקצועי בשנים שקדמו לכן כרכז קשרי ציבור בפרויקט תשתיות בעיר העתיקה מטעם "הרשות לפיתוח ירושלים"; כמנהל בית מורשת וינר תחת מינהל קהילתי "לב העיר" בירושלים וכמנהל תחום נוער במרכז ירושלים.
במקביל לתפקידיו אלה, היה נתנאל שותף בועדת ההיגוי להקמת מרכז צעירים בירושלים, וחבר במזכירות האגודה הארצית למנהלי יחידות נוער ברשויות, אז היה שותף לכתיבת הקוד האתי לעובדי נוער ברשויות.
בשנים 1998- 2000 ביצע נתנאל תפקידים בעיריית ראשון לציון ובחברה למתנ"סים בקרית שמונה בתחום ניהול פרויקטים.
לנתנאל תואר שני במנהל עסקים עם התמחות בשיווק ואסטרטגיה מטעם האוניברסיטה העברית, תואר שני בלימודי א"י במסלול מחקרי מטעם אוניברסיטת בר-אילן ותואר ראשון בלימודי חינוך תנ"ך ותושב"ע מטעם מכללת "הרצוג" שבגוש-עציון. נתנאל בוגר קורס אימון נגד אפליה של ארגון CEJI, וקורסי הכוון ליחידות נוער, חונכות למתמחי הוראה וניהול פרויקטים בחברה בין תרבותית של משרד החינוך.
