Ido Benjamin

As of 2016, Ido serves as Director of Social-Business Development in the Matav non-profit organization, where he is responsible for identifying and developing new opportunities in the world of social services in general, and especially in the world of aging – with an emphasis on integration of innovation and digital tools.
He has a Bachelor's Degree in Government from the IDC, and a Master's Degree in Business Administration from the Hebrew University.
Prior to his position in Matav, Ido was a partner and COO in "Timoko", a technological start-up company that deals with therapeutic and rehabilitation solutions. There he initiated and led processes for promoting business partnerships, new developments, and penetration of new markets – particularly in Europe. Before this he served as a consultant to the Executive Director of the Ministry of Welfare and Social Services, and took part in writing and leading inter-ministerial programs in the areas of aging, Holocaust survivors and children at risk.
His digital vision is to find the tools that will provide accessible solutions to the various difficulties faced by the elderly population.
משנת 2016 משמש כמנהל פיתוח חברתי- עסקי בעמותת מט"ב, ועוסק באיתור ופיתוח הזדמנויות חדשות בעולם השירותים החברתיים בכלל ובעולם הזקנה בפרט, וזאת בדגש על שילוב של חדשנות וכלים דיגיטליים.
טרם הגעתו למטב שימש כשותף ו- COO בחברת "טימוקו" - סטארט אפ טכנולוגי העוסק במתן פתרון טיפולי, שיקומי, שם עסק בייזום והובלת תהליכים לקידום שותפויות עסקיות, פיתוחים חדשים וחדירה לשווקים עם דגש על השוק האירופי. קודם לכן, כיהן כיועץ למנכ"ל משרד הרווחה והשירותים החברתיים ולקח חלק בכתיבה, והובלה של תכניות בין משרדיות בנושאים של זקנה, ניצולי שואה וילדים בסיכון.
בעל תואר ראשון בממשל, מהמרכז הבינתחומי הרצליה ותואר שני במנהל עסקים מהאוניברסיטה העברית.
החזון הדיגיטלי הינו למצוא את הכלים אשר ינגישו ויתנו מענה לקשיים השונים של אוכלוסיית הגיל השלישי.
