During her military service, she filled command roles, as squad, platoon and company commander at the recruits training base 12. After completion of her undergraduate studies, she worked as a physiotherapist and in 1992 she became Secretary of her kibbutz and contributed to the economic and social advancement of the kibbutz.
After about 10 years she returned to work as a physiotherapist and managed the field in 12 nursing wards and an elderly day care center.
In 2014, she managed the Galilee Veterans Association, which develops services for the elderly in the Upper Galilee, and in this capacity she developed innovative initiatives in the area of services for the elderly.
Idit hold a master’s degree in gerontology and a bachelor’s degree in physiotherapy from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev. She lives in Kibbutz Ma'ayan Baruch in Israel’s north, is married to Arnon, mother to Gur, Rom and Nir, mother-in-law to Ophir, and grandmother to Ido.
עידית מנכ"לית מועצה אזורית הגליל העליון משנת 2017. בצבא שירתה במסלול פיקוד, מ"כית, מ"מית וממ"פית בבסיס קליטה של טירוניות בה"ד 12. בסיום התואר הראשון עבדה כפיזיותרפיסטית ובשנת 1992 עבדה כמזכירת קיבוץ וסייעה לקדם כלכלית וחברתית את הקיבוץ.
לאחר כ- 10 שנים חזרה לעבוד כפיזיותרפיסטית וניהלה את התחום ב- 12 מחלקות סיעודי ות ובמרכז יום לזקנים.
בשנת 2014 ניהלה את עמותת ותיקי הגליל עמותה המפתחת שירותים לזקנים בגליל העליון ובמסגרת זו פיתחה מיזמים חדשנים בתחומי השירותים לזקנים.
בוגרת תואר בשני בגרנטולוגיה ותואר ראשון בפיזיותרפיה מאוניברסיטת בן גוריון בנגב.
גרה בקיבוץ מעין ברוך בצפון הארץ, נשואה לארנון, אמא ל-גור, רום וניר, חותנת לאופיר, וסבתא לעידו.
