Pazit Kleiman has been Senior Deputy Director (Tax Assessments and Audit) at the Israeli Tax Authority since 2018. She is an Israeli CPA and hold an MBA from Tel Aviv University. For the past 26 years she has been employed by the Israeli tax authority and undertook a series positions in various field offices as well as in the headquarters of the tax authority.
From 2010, when she was appointed assessing officer (Managing a field office), she has been part of the broad management of the tax authority. Being the head assessing officer entails managing all professional and administrative aspects of the regional office. For 7 years she managed two regional offices, first Rehovot assessing office and then Kfar Saba office.
At the end of 2017 she was appointed to her current position. In this position, as part of the tax authority’s senior management she is actively part of the strategic planning of the tax authority for the years to come, her main responsibility relates to plans regarding the assessment process and audit.
As head of the tax assessment and audit division, she is responsible for the tax assessment and audit process both at the headquarter level and the field level. Her responsibilities include, among others, setting policy, implementing legislation, preparing work plans and processes, training employees, providing professional guidance.
פזית קלימן מועסקת ברשות המסים כסמנכ"לית בכירה לשומה וביקורת מאז 2018. היא רואת חשבון ובעלת תואר שני במנהל עסקים מאוניברסיטת תל אביב. את דרכה ברשות המסים החלה לפני כ- 26 שנים כמפקחת מס בחוליית חברות ומילאה שורה של תפקידים במשרדי השטח ובמטה הרשות, עד לתפקידה הנוכחי.
בשנת 2010 מונתה לפקידת שומה – מנהלת משרד אזורי האחראית על ההיבטים המקצועיים והניהוליים במשרד, במסגרת תפקיד זה לקחה חלק בהנהלה המורחבת של הרשות. במשך כשבע שנים ניהלה שני משרדים אזוריים, תחילה את משרד השומה ברחובות ולאחר מכן את משרד השומה בכפר סבא, משרד גדול ומשמעותי ברשות הן בהיבט המקצועי והן בהיבט הניהולי.
בשנת 2018 מונתה לסמנכ"לית, בתפקידה זה היא חברה בהנהלה המצומצמת של רשות המסים, שותפה בבניית התכנית האסטרטגית של הרשות ואחראית על הובלת הנושאים בתחום השומה והביקורת. בתפקידה כאחראית על חטיבת השומה והביקורת פזית אחראית על תפעול עבודת השומה והביקורת במטה וביחידות השטח בתחומי המס השונים (מס הכנסה, מיסוי מקרקעין ומע"מ), קביעת מדיניות, יישום חקיקה, בניית תכניות עבודה, תהליכי עבודה, הכשרת עובדים, מתן הנחיות מקצועיות ועוד. בנוסף, לקחה חלק בפעולות שונות ברשות, פרויקטים, ועדות וצוותי עבודה שונים.
