The Association deals with research and therapeutic intervention for children on the autism spectrum, as well as developing counseling and training programs for strengthening personal, institutional and community resilience. During Zipi’s 16 years in this position, the Association’s activities have significantly expanded to encompass some 300 locations across the country. It has about 2,000 employees and an annual turnover of NIS 200 million. The Association also promotes a social agenda at the national level.
Before assuming this position, Zipi practiced civil and commercial law for seven years, specializing in representing non-profit organizations and serving as legal counsel to institutions of higher education. After this experience, she sought an area where she could generate real social change and realize her potential in management.
She is the mother of four and lives in Givat Shmuel.
המרכז לטיפול וחקר באוטיזם העמותה עוסקת בטיפול ומחקר בילדים על הרצף האוטיסטי ובפיתוח תכניות לייעוץ ולהכשרה בתחום שיפור החוסן האישי, המוסדי והקהילתי. במהלך 16 שנות כהונתה הורחבה פעילות העמותה באופן דרמטי, וכיום העמותה פועלת בכ-300 מסגרות ברחבי הארץ, מעסיקה כ-2,000 עובדים והמחזור הכספי עומד על כ-200 מיליון ₪. כמו כן, העמותה עוסקת בקידום סדר יום חברתי ברמה הלאומית.
טרם כניסתה לתפקיד מנכ"לית העמותה, עסקה בעריכת דין כ-7 שנים בתחום האזרחי-מסחרי עם התמחות בייצוג עמותות וכיועצת משפטית פנימית במוסדות להשכלה גבוהה. לאחר שמילאה תפקידים אלה, חיפשה תחום שבו יכולה לעשות שינוי חברתי ולממש את יכולותיה מתחום הניהול.
אם לארבעה ילדים, מתגוררת בגבעת שמואל.
