Ron is the CEO of Ofek Management, where he focuses on development of the SmartCity – promoting, developing and expanding congruity of technological innovation with municipal strategies, targeting and requirements with regard to residential, commercial and industrial zones. He identifies and provide solutions to the municipal market. He is also in charge of synchronizing systems of SmartCity networks for the municipal service for accessibility, allowing seamless flow of data and transparency between residents, municipality and municipal bodies.
Ron played an integral part of the establishment of Ofek Management – a subsidiary of Modiin-Maccabim-Reut Munciplatity, contracting, marketing and engaging cutting-edge technologies in conjunction with Boards of Directors from the public and private sectors.
He is a consultant to the municipality which includes analyzing, defining and implementing strategies from concept to realization and fully operational status; combining technological and municipal systems to achieve full and successful implementation and long-term strategy planning.
Ron Conducted seminars and lectures for digital solutions from concept to implementation. He also held international management positions, including a relocation to the UK, USA, Hong Kong and Brazil.
Ron holds BA in Business Administartion from Ruppin Academic Center and MA in Law gafrom Bar Ilan University.
רון מכהן כמנכ"ל מנהלת "אופק" – החברה לניהול ופיתוח אזורי תעסוקה ונכסים וכראש הרשות לחדשנות בעיר מודיעין-מכבים-רעות, שם הוא מתמקד בפיתוח פרויקט "העיר החכמה".
בתפקידו כראש הרשות לחדשנות, פועל רון לקידום, פיתוח והרחבה של חדשנות טכנולוגית בתיאום עם אסטרטגיות עירוניות, מיקוד ודרישות לגבי אזורי מגורים, מסחר ותעשייה תוך בחינה וזיהוי פתרונות לטובת עיריית מודיעין ותושביה. כמו כן הוא אחראי על סנכרון מערכות של רשתות העיר החכמה עבור השירות העירוני במיקוד על נגישות, המאפשר זרימה חלקה של נתונים ושקיפות בין התושבים, העירייה והגופים העירוניים.
רון מילא תפקיד עיקרי בהקמת מנהלת "אופק" - חברה בת של עיריית מודיעין-מכבים-רעות, פועל מול ספקים וקבלנים במגוון תחומים הכוללים טכנולוגיות חדישות ומעורבות בשיתוף עם חברות ומנהלים מהמגזר הציבורי והפרטי. הוא יועץ לעירייה בתחומי חדשנות הכוללים ניתוח, הגדרה ויישום אסטרטגיות מהרעיון עד למימוש ותפקוד תפעולי מלא; שילוב מערכות טכנולוגיות בסביבה העירונית להשגת יישום מלא ומוצלח ותכנון אסטרטגיה לטווח ארוך. רון ניהל סמינרים והרצאות לפתרונות דיגיטליים מרעיון ועד ליישום.
רון השתתף ביוזמה הלאומית הדיגיטלית של המשרד לשוויון חברתי וג'וינט ישראל. כמו כן הוא מילא תפקידי ניהול בארץ ובעולם.
לרון תואר ראשון במנהל עסקים מהמרכז האקדמי רופין ותואר שני במשפטים מאוניברסיטת בר אילן.
